    A Bill to amend Chapter 1, Title 6, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to general local government provisions by adding Section 6-1-50 so as to require public utilities, cable television companies, and certain other entities to post a bond with the governmental body having jurisdiction over a roadway before the utility, cable television company, or entity can undertake work within the road right-of-way if the work will alter or damage the roadway.
