A Bill to amend Sections 16-25-30 and 16-25-40, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to penalties for the crime of criminal domestic violence, so as to revise the penalties; Section 16-25-60, relating to suspension of the sentence for a third conviction of the crime, so as to provide for the Section to apply to any conviction for the crime; and Section 20-4-100, relating to the responsibilities of a law enforcement officer in a domestic abuse incident, so as to provide for the arrest of the primary physical aggressor.
