A Bill to provide that a registered barber who has used chemicals to treat hair may receive a temporary master haircare license which remains in effect until the Board of Barber Examiners is reauthorized; to amend Section 40-7-10, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the definition of the practice of barbering, so as to include within the definition the application of chemicals to wave, relax, straighten, or bleach the hair; and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Section 40-7-15, so as to prohibit any person from using chemicals to wave, relax, straighten, or bleach the hair unless licensed as a master haircare specialist.-amended title
