    A Bill to amend Section 40-43-50, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to qualifications of applicants for examination as registered pharmacists, so as to change the term "registered pharmacist" to "licensed pharmacist", delete the provision that the State Board of Pharmacy, prior to promulgation of certain regulations, may in its discretion accept credit for any internship completed prior to April 1, 1980, in a program not previously recognized by the Board, and provide a procedure for licensure of an applicant who is a graduate from a school, college, or department of pharmacy of a university located outside the United States which has not been recognized by the State Board of Pharmacy and who is otherwise qualified to apply for a license to practice pharmacy in this State.
