    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 59-149-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ELIGIBILITY FOR LIFE SCHOLARSHIPS, SO AS TO REVISE ELIGIBILITY AND RETENTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP BY INCLUDING A REQUIREMENT THAT THE CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE CALCULATION, FOR PURPOSES OF LIFE SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY, MUST BE INCLUSIVE OF THE STUDENT'S GRADE POINT AVERAGE AT ALL PUBLIC OR INDEPENDENT INSTITUTIONS ATTENDED BY THE STUDENT.
