    A Bill to provide for the election of the Newberry County Board of Education from the districts from which the members of the Newberry County Council are elected, to allow the present board members to serve until their terms expire except when a special election is required, to provide for a special election if any district has no resident who is a present board member or if any district has more than one resident who is a present board member, to provide for filling of vacancies, to provide that no person employed in the public school system is eligible to serve as a board member, to provide for meetings and compensation, to provide for the present chairman and officers to continue to serve, and to delete Sections 1 and 2 of Act 981 of 1972, relating to the Newberry County Board of Education.
