Summary: Failure to stop when signaled by law enforcement officer
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 56-5-750, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO FAILURE TO STOP A MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN SIGNALED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT, SO AS TO REVISE AND PROVIDE FOR INCREASED PENALTIES, TO PROVIDE THAT SENTENCES MAY NOT BE SUSPENDED AND PROBATION MAY NOT BE GRANTED, TO ELIMINATE THE ABILITY TO EXPUNGE A CONVICTION FOR A FIRST OFFENSE, TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON CONVICTED OF A VIOLATION OF THE SECTION SHALL HAVE HIS LICENSE PERMANENTLY REVOKED, AND TO MAKE CONFORMING CHANGES.
