    A Bill to amend Chapter 55 of Title 39, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to perpetual care cemeteries, so as to enact the "South Carolina Cemetery Act of 1984", including provisions for, among other things, regulation of certain cemeteries and penalties; to provide for the continued operation of cemetery companies lawfully operating on the effective date of this Act; and to repeal Chapter 7 of Title 32, relating to preneed burial contracts.
