    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 2-19-70 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, TO PROVIDE THAT A MEMBER OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY MAY NOT BE ELECTED TO JUDICIAL OFFICE FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY YEARS AFTER HE CEASES TO BE A MEMBER OR FAILS TO FILE FOR ELECTION TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
