    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 12-36-2120, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS FROM SALES TAX, SO AS TO EXEMPT FROM SALES TAX EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2010, DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT PAID FOR BY MEDICAID AND MEDICARE FUNDS WHERE THE PAYMENT OF SALES TAX IS PROHIBITED AND TO REDUCE BY ONE PERCENT A FISCAL YEAR THE FIVE PERCENT STATE SALES AND USE TAX ON DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.
