H 3401 General Bill, By  House Judiciary
 A Bill to amend Section 12-37-250, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as
 amended, relating to homestead exemptions, so as to provide that a single
 application to the county auditor shall constitute a valid application for
 both county and municipal exemptions; provide for exemptions of mobile homes
 on leased property and property in inter vivos trusts when the beneficiary is
 otherwise qualified; extend the exemption rights to all qualified holders on
 life estates in their resident dwelling houses; to provide that the exemption
 shall be allowed; and to provide that the exemption shall apply to persons who
 own a dwelling in part in fee or in part for life when such persons satisfy
 the requirements for such exemption.-at
