H 2720 General Bill, By P. Evatt and Wilkins
 A Bill to amend Part 1, Subarticle 13, Article 13, Chapter 7, Title 20, Code
 of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the Youth Services Act of 1981,
 by adding Section 20-7-3235 so as to provide that employees of the Department
 of Youth Services have the status of peace officers when attempting to
 recapture juveniles who have been committed to the custody of the Department,
 to authorize the Department to issue a warrant or request that a warrant be
 issued by the Family Court for the juvenile's recapture, to provide for the
 contents of the warrant, and to provide that any law enforcement officer, upon
 the request of the Department, must take the juvenile into custody and notify
 the Department of same.
