 A Bill to amend Section 12-35-550, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as
 amended, relating to exemptions from the sales and use tax, so as to exempt
 the gross proceeds of gasoline and other motor fuels used in farm machinery
 and farm tractors and natural and liquefied petroleum gas used in the
 production of poultry; to amend Section 12-27-230, as amended, Section
 12-37-240, as amended, Section 12-27-380, as amended, Section 12-27-400, as
 amended, Section 12-27-510, as amended, Section 12-27-520, Section 12-29-150,
 as amended, Section 12-29-310, as amended, Section 12-31-410, as amended,
 Section 12-31-450, as amended, and Section 57-11-210, as amended, all relating
 to the tax on gasoline and other motor fuels and the distribution of the
 proceeds thereof, so as to increase the tax by one cent per gallon and further
 provide for the distribution thereof; to amend Act 141 of 1977, relating to
 the gasoline tax and other motor fuel taxes, so as to reflect the other
 changes in taxes prescribed in this Act; and to provide for taxation of
 "Gasohol"; to amend Section 12-27-710 of the 1976 Code, relating to the tax on
 gasoline used in tractors and other farm equipment, so as to delete a
 reference to the tax on such gasoline; to provide that the Chairman of Senate
 Transportation Committee and the Chairman of the House Education and Public
 Works Committee, or their designees, shall serve ex officio as members of the
 State Highways and Public Transportation Commission; and to repeal Section
 12-27-830, relating to the allocation of the proceeds of gasoline tax on
 gasoline used for agricultural purposes.-at
