AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 40-6-160, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO AUCTIONS AND AUCTIONEERS, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA AUCTIONEERS' COMMISSION TO ISSUE REPRIMANDS FOR MISCONDUCT WHICH DOES NOT WARRANT SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF A LICENSE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Reprimand for misconduct

SECTION 1. Section 40-6-160 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding at the end:

"The commission may issue a written or oral reprimand for misconduct as set out in this section when, in its judgment, the misconduct does not warrant suspension or revocation of a license."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
