 A Senate Resolution to authorize the President of the Senate and the President
 Pro Tempore, as may be necessary, during that period of time between Sine DieNext
 adjournment of the 1993 Session and the convening of the 1994 Session of the
 General Assembly, to officially receive appointments made by the Governor and
 sent to the Senate for its advice and consent and to refer any such
 appointments to the appropriate standing committee for consideration and
 report.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE AND THE PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE, AS MAY BE NECESSARY, DURING THAT PERIOD OF TIME BETWEEN PreviousSINE DIENext ADJOURNMENT OF THE 1993 SESSION AND THE CONVENING OF THE 1994 SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, TO OFFICIALLY RECEIVE APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE GOVERNOR AND SENT TO THE SENATE FOR ITS ADVICE AND CONSENT AND TO REFER ANY SUCH APPOINTMENTS TO THE APPROPRIATE STANDING COMMITTEE FOR CONSIDERATION AND REPORT.

Whereas, under the provisions of H.3546, as and if passed by the General Assembly, the Governor is required to make certain appointments not later than December 1, 1993; and

Whereas, it is the intent of the Senate to be fully empowered to officially receive such appointments and take appropriate action during its interim; and

Whereas, it is the desire of the Senate to give fair, full, careful and expeditious consideration to the appointments of the Governor. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the President of the Senate and the President Pro Tempore, as may be necessary, are authorized during that period of time between PreviousSine Die adjournment of the 1993 session and the convening of the 1994 session of the General Assembly, to officially receive appointments made by the Governor and sent to the Senate for its advice and consent and to refer any such appointments to the appropriate standing committee for consideration and report.
