ON THURSDAY, JUNE 22, 2000; AND TO PROVIDE THAT WHEN EACH HOUSE ADJOURNS ON THURSDAY, JUNE 22, 2000, THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY SHALL STAND ADJOURNED PreviousSINE DIENext.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

(1) Pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Section 21 of the Constitution of this State and Section 2-1-180 of the 1976 Code, the mandatory PreviousSine DieNext adjournment date for the General Assembly is changed and extended, as authorized by law, to permit the General Assembly to continue in session Thursday, June 22, 2000, after 5:00 p.m., for the following matters and subject to the following conditions, as applicable:

(A) ratification of acts.

(2) When each house adjourns on Thursday, June 22, 2000, the General Assembly shall stand adjourned PreviousSine Die.
