 coach the privilege of the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday,
 February 4, 1993, at 10:15 A.M.

A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE SWANSEA HIGH SCHOOL "TIGER" FOOTBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE CLASS AA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AND TO ALLOW THE TEAM AND ITS COACH THE PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 1993, AT 10:15 A.M.

Whereas, the General Assembly has learned that the Swansea High School Football Team has won the state AA championship; and

Whereas, this never-say-die football team defeated a tough Batesburg-Leesville by a score of 24-16; and

Whereas, this Lexington County clash for the state supremacy for Class AA was most improbable, and could only be a dream match; and

Whereas, Swansea, not ranking high in the polls, rose to the occasion by hard work and perseverance.

Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the Swansea High School "Tigers" and its coach are given the privilege of the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday, February 4, 1993, at 10:15 A.M.
