A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AMEND ACT 306 OF 1975, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE WRITING OF MEDICAL MALPRACTICE LIABILITY INSURANCE THROUGH A JOINT UNDERWRITING ASSOCIATION, SO AS TO EXTEND THE EXPIRATION DATE OF SUCH UNDERWRITING ASSOCIATION FROM DECEMBER 31, 1981, TO DECEMBER 31, 1983.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Expiration date extended
SECTION 1. Section 21 of Act 306 of 1975, as last amended by Act 221 of 1979, is further amended to read:
"Section 21. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor and shall expire on December 31, 1983."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
