A JOINT RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO ROUTE A SCHOOL BUS DOWN HOWLE AVENUE ON JAMES ISLAND IN CHARLESTON COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING A STOP FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 1983-84 ONLY AND TO PROVIDE PAYMENT FOR THE TRANSPORTATION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Department of Education directed to route bus
SECTION 1. The State Department of Education is directed to route a school bus down Howle Avenue on James Island in Charleston County for the purpose of making a stop for school children for the school year 1983-84 only; provided, that the local school district in which this route is located shall pay to the State Department of Education a rate per mile as established by the Department for each mile or fraction of a mile that is traveled by the bus when making this route which is in excess of its normal route.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor. |
