CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL SILVER FOX
CHEERLEADING SQUAD ON THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WIN.

A HOUSE RESOLUTION
TO EXPRESS THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAR OLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL SILVER FOX CHEERLEADING SQUAD ON THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WIN.
Whereas, in 1999, the Dutch Fork High School Silver Fox Cheerleading Squad became the first in school history to win a state championship, and
Whereas, last year, they became the first, and only, team in Dutch Fork High School's history to repeat as state champions; and
Whereas, the Silver Foxes earned 283 points in the grueling state cheer competition to become the Class AAAA State Champions for the second straight year; and
Whereas, members of the cheerleading squad are Coach Sherri Kirkland, Annabell Barnhart, Erin Caskey, April Davison, Kelly Edrington, Emily Geiger, Jamie Hill, Co-Captain, Chelsea Howard, Stephanie Johns, Anna Lewis, Lindsay Martin, Robyn McHale, Jessie Meek, Captain, Kassie Moore, Tobin Raymond, Blaine Reedy, Brooke Reedy, Kendall Robinson, Brannon Rutherford, Shelly Stier, Lindsay Study, Shannon Wade; and
Whereas, in recognition of this talented group of young ladies representing Dutch Fork High School, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives wish to publicly recognize and congratulate them upon their tremendous victory. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, express their congratulations to the members of the Dutch Fork High School Silver Fox Cheerleading Squad on the occasion of winning their second consecutive Class AAAA State Championship.
Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution be presented to Dr. Ron Cowden, Principal of Dutch Fork High School, and Coach Sherri Kirkland.
