EXPLANATION OF IMPACT: The Department of Health & Environmental Control reports that this bill would have no impact on the state general fund or on federal and/or other funds. TO AMEND SECTION 44-34-20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO A TATTOO FACILITY ENGAGING IN ANOTHER RETAIL BUSINESS, SO AS TO PROVIDE A TATTOO FACILITY MAY PROVIDE THE RETAIL SALE OF MERCHANDISE WITH IMAGES AND LANGUAGE PROMOTING THE ART AND CULTURE OF TATTOOING. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina: SECTION 1. Section 44-34-20(C) of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 250 of 2004, is amended to read:
"(C) A tattoo facility SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
