A Bill to amend Section 61-3-440, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976,
relating to the prohibition of granting an alcoholic beverage license to a
place of business which is within three hundred feet of any church, school, or
playground situated within a municipality or within five hundred feet outside
a municipality, so as to prohibit the granting of a license to a place of
business that sells alcoholic liquors or beer, ale, porter, wine, and other
similar malt or fermented beverages within five hundred feet of any church,
school, or playground.
