Explanation of Fiscal Impact Introduced on March 27, 2019 State Expenditure This bill modifies language in reference to a person who has been issued a commercial driver license and drives a commercial motor vehicle. The bill does not require any agency action and does not operationally or fiscally impact state agencies or local governments. TO AMEND SECTION 56-1-2150, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE QUALIFICATIONS A PERSON MUST POSSESS TO DRIVE A COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE, SO AS TO PROVIDE A PERSON WHO HAS A COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE IS PRESUMED TO POSSESS THE QUALIFICATIONS TO DRIVE A COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina: SECTION 1. Section 56-1-2150 is amended to read:
"Section 56-1-2150. A person SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
