 COUNTY FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED AND UNSELFISH PUBLIC SERVICE IN THE
 CHESTER COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, AND TO WISH HER GOOD HEALTH AND
 MUCH HAPPINESS UPON HER RETIREMENT.

TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MS. NANCY G. McKEOWN OF CHESTER COUNTY FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED AND UNSELFISH PUBLIC SERVICE IN THE CHESTER COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, AND TO WISH HER GOOD HEALTH AND MUCH HAPPINESS UPON HER RETIREMENT.

Whereas, Ms. Nancy G. McKeown has been employed at the Chester County Department of Social Services since February 17, 1994; and

Whereas, Ms. McKeown has tirelessly provided much needed administrative support to the many Chester County DSS caseworkers and eligibility workers; and

Whereas, for many years, Ms. McKeown served as the office's only switchboard operator, cheerfully and efficiently answering the numerous calls that come into the office everyday; and

Whereas, Ms. McKeown's caring and compassionate personality made her the ideal person to serve as the county's first point of contact for many of its most vulnerable and disadvantaged citizens; and

Whereas, Chester County and the State of South Carolina are indebted to Ms. McKeown for her generous contributions to the youth, families, and other citizens privileged to know this lovely lady; and

Whereas, it is fitting and proper for the members of the House of Representatives to pause in their deliberations to recognize Ms. Nancy G. McKeown upon the occasion of her well-deserved retirement. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives recognize and commend Ms. Nancy G. McKeown of Chester County for her many years of dedicated and unselfish public service in the Chester County Department of Social Services, and to wish her good health and much happiness upon her retirement.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. McKeown.
