S 1204 General Bill, By Senate Education
 A Bill to amend Act 187 of 1979, as amended, relating to the training,
 employment, and evaluation of public educators, so as to provide that salary
 increases may be permitted to teachers who receive an overall satisfactory
 evaluation; to provide for staff development for teachers failing to achieve a
 satisfactory rating on any criteria and to limit this option to teachers
 certified as of July 1, 1986, and to amend Act 512 of 1984, as amended, the
 General Appropriations Act, relating to minimum teacher proficiency
 requirements of the Education Improvement Act of 1984, so as to reflect the
 addition of the performance criteria.
