AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 40-3-80, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA,
1976, RELATING TO QUALIFICATIONS AND EXAMINATION OF APPLICANTS FOR
REGISTRATION AS ARCHITECTS, SO AS TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM FEE FOR
EXAMINATION FROM ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Fee
SECTION 1. Section 40-3-80 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Section 2 of Part II, Act 644 of 1978,
is further amended to read:
"Section 40-3-80. Every applicant applying for registration in this State shall pay to the Board the sum
of twenty-five dollars and no applicant shall be considered until such fee has been paid. Applicants approved
for examination shall pay to the Board, prior to being examined, a sum commensurate with the cost of
administering the examination, as determined by the Board, not to exceed five hundred dollars."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor. |
