AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT ALL OPERATING FUNDS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF GREENVILLE COUNTY SHALL BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BY THE GREENVILLE COUNTY TREASURER AS COLLECTED AND TO DIRECT THE COUNTY TREASURER TO PAY TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND OTHER FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Treasurer directed to pay operating funds immediately upon receipt

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Treasurer of Greenville County is directed to pay all operating funds of the School District of Greenville County to the district as such funds are collected and to require the treasurer to pay over to the school district immediately upon receipt all federal, state, and other funds designated for school purposes, other than debt service funds, currently held or received by the county treasurer.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
