AN ACT TO VEST EXCLUSIVELY IN THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF CALHOUN COUNTY THE POWER AND DUTY TO OPERATE A FOOD SERVICES PROGRAM, INCLUDING A SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM, FOR THE STUDENTS OF THAT DISTRICT; AND TO REQUIRE THE SUPERINTENDENT OF THAT DISTRICT TO DIRECT THESE PROGRAMS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Food service program

SECTION 1. The Board of Trustees of the School District of Calhoun County exclusively is vested with the power and duty to operate a food services program, including a school lunch program, for the students of that school district. The superintendent of the School District of Calhoun County shall direct the food services operations, including the school lunch program, provided for in this section.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
