AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE FILLING OF A VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF GREENVILLE COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Vacancy

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 59-19-60, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, a vacancy in the board of trustees of the School District of Greenville County must be filled for the remainder of the unexpired term at the next regular election for trustees or at a special election if the vacancy occurs one hundred eighty days or more prior to the next regular election for trustees.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
