AN ACT TO PROVIDE FULL MAGISTERIAL POWERS TO THE SPECIAL MAGISTRATE IN HORRY COUNTY TO BE EXERCISED AS DIRECTED BY THE CHIEF MAGISTRATE OF HORRY COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Powers of special magistrate

SECTION 1. The special magistrate added in Horry County by Act 551 of 1982 may exercise all powers provided by law for magistrates. The magistrate shall exercise his powers at the times and in the manner directed by the chief magistrate of Horry County.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
