AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 609 OF 1984, RELATING TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE PICKENS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, SO AS TO INCREASE THE MONTHLY EXPENSE ALLOWANCE OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Monthly expense allowance increased

SECTION 1. Section 5 of Act 609 of 1984 is amended to read:

"Section 5. Each elected member of the board of trustees of the Pickens County School District shall receive two hundred fifty dollars a month to reimburse him for his expenses incurred in the performance of his official duties."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
