AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 930 OF 1970, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO SCHOOL TRUSTEES OF KERSHAW COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE DEADLINE TIME PERIOD FOR HAVING AN AUDIT PREPARED FROM NOT MORE THAN NINETY DAYS FROM THE END OF EACH FISCAL YEAR TO DECEMBER FIRST, FOLLOWING THE END OF EACH FISCAL YEAR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

School trustees; Kershaw; audit report; deadline changed

SECTION 1. Item 12 of Section 7 of Act 930 of 1970, as amended by Act 117 of 1971, is further amended to read:

"12. To have an audit prepared by a C.P.A., no later than December first, following the end of each fiscal year, as to the operation of the public schools of Kershaw County. A copy of the audit must be made available to each school in the county and the Kershaw County school headquarters, which must be open to public inspection during normal business hours."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
