A JOINT RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BOARD OF CORRECTIONS TO SELL TIMBER IN 1990 IN ADDITION TO THE ANNUAL TIMBER SALES PERMITTED BY LAW AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE PROCEEDS MUST BE USED FOR THE SAME PURPOSES AS OTHER TIMBER SALE PROCEEDS ARE USED BY THE BOARD.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Timber sales allowed
SECTION 1. In addition to the amount of annual timber sales allowed by the State Board of Corrections pursuant to Section 24-1-250 of the 1976 Code, the board may sell additional timber sufficient to derive proceeds of fifty thousand dollars in 1990. These proceeds must be used as provided in Section 24-1-250 of the 1976 Code.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
