AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 6-17-20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS IN THE REVENUE BOND REFINANCING ACT OF 1937, SO AS TO REVISE THE DEFINITION OF "MUNICIPALITY".

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Definition of "municipality" revised

SECTION 1. Section 6-17-20(1) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(1) 'Municipality' means a county, township, city, incorporated town, or special purpose district;".

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
