AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-250, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE DATE OF THE OFFICIAL MAP DESIGNATING THE PRECINCTS PREPARED BY AND ON FILE WITH THE DIVISION OF RESEARCH AND STATISTICAL SERVICES OF THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD WHICH SHOWS CHANGES IN THE BOUNDARIES OF DUTCHMAN CREEK AND MITFORD PRECINCTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Precinct lines

SECTION 1. The second paragraph of Section 7-7-250 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 122 of 1987, is further amended to read:

"The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on the official map prepared by and on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the Budget and Control Board and as shown on copies of the official map provided to the State Election Commission and the Fairfield County Board of Voter Registration by the Division of Research and Statistical Services. The official date of the map is June 15, 1989."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
