A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO WELCOME THE PRINTING OFFICIALS OF OTHER STATES AND RELATED POLITICAL JURISDICTIONS TO SOUTH CAROLINA WHEN THEY ATTEND THE NATIONAL STATE PRINTING ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CONFERENCE SEPTEMBER 27-30, 1992, IN CHARLESTON.

Whereas, the printing officials of other states and related political jurisdictions will meet with South Carolina's printing officials at the National State Printing Association Annual Conference September 27-30, 1992, in Charleston; and

Whereas, the National State Printing Association is composed of state and international members. The president of the association is John Pardus of New York; and

Whereas, the mission of the conference is to bring printing officials of the various states and other related political jurisdictions into an organization through which they may work to improve the management of printing programs, exchange information, cooperate toward the more effective exercise of productions and procurement of printing products and services, and attain greater efficiency and economy in state government; and

Whereas, the members of the Senate are proud that South Carolina is hosting this conference and are proud of the role that South Carolina printing officials will play in this important service to state government. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate welcome the printing officials of other states and related political jurisdictions to South Carolina when they attend the National State Printing Association Annual Conference September 27-30, 1992, in Charleston.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. B. M. Cave, State Printing Officer.
