TO AMEND RULE 12.2 OF THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION ON MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OR THEIR EMPLOYEES FROM RECEIVING ANYTHING OF VALUE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT NO MEMBER OR MEMBER OF HIS LAW FIRM, PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION, CORPORATION, OR OTHER ENTITY WITH WHICH THE HOUSE MEMBER IS ASSOCIATED MAY RECEIVE PROFESSIONAL FEES FROM AN ENTITY WHICH EMPLOYS A LOBBYIST, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
The Rule 12.2 of the House is amended by adding:
"(E) No member of the House or member of his law firm, professional association, corporation, or other entity with which the House member is associated may receive professional fees from an entity which employs a lobbyist, directly or indirectly."
