TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF MR. FRANK H. STOLL OF CHARLESTON UPON HIS DEATH.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Frank H. Stoll of Charleston on February 18, 1992, at the age of sixty-nine; and
Whereas, Frank Stoll was one of Charleston's most respected business, civic, and church leaders through his many activities in the Charleston area with the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, and other community organizations; and
Whereas, he was a very successful businessman who founded Triple "S" Wholesale, Inc., and was past president of the Charleston Manufacturers Association; and
Whereas, Frank Stoll was also a strong supporter of education in South Carolina and established the "Frank H. Stoll Award for Excellence" in the Business Department of the College of Charleston; and
Whereas, with the death of this outstanding man, Charleston and the State of South Carolina have lost a business leader of great integrity, a civic leader of great energy, and a person who made a difference in the lives of many people; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to extend their sincere condolences to his family and many friends and especially to his daughter, Sally, and her husband and our colleague, Ron Fulmer, upon his death. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly hereby express their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of Mr. Frank H. Stoll of Charleston upon his death.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his family.
