AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 30-4-50, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, CERTAIN MATTERS WHICH ARE DECLARED TO BE PUBLIC INFORMATION, AND THE PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF CERTAIN INFORMATION FOR COMMERCIAL SOLICITATION, SO AS TO ADD TO THE LIST OF MATTERS WHICH ARE DECLARED TO BE PUBLIC INFORMATION STATISTICAL AND OTHER EMPIRICAL FINDINGS CONSIDERED BY THE LEGISLATIVE AUDIT COUNCIL IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUDIT REPORT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Findings added to public information list
SECTION 1. Section 30-4-50(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 269 of 1992, is further amended by adding an appropriately numbered item to read:
"( ) statistical and other empirical findings considered by the Legislative Audit Council in the development of an audit report."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
