TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS, RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1602, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, relating to Professional Practices, designated as Regulation Document Number 1602, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

The proposed regulation defines and establishes procedures for reinstatement of licenses expired for three years or less; requires licenses expired more than three years to meet requirements for new license; defines continuing education requirements and program approval requirements; establishes requirements for practice of chiropractic physiotherapy; defines right to order tests for use in diagnosis of chiropractic conditions; defines and establishes terms and definitions.
