A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING CHAPTER 28 TO TITLE 12 SO AS TO CONFORM SOUTH CAROLINA'S METHOD OF IMPOSING AN EXCISE TAX ON MOTOR FUEL TO FEDERAL LAW.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Title 12 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Chapter 28

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
