AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE SUPERINTENDENT OF ANY SCHOOL DISTRICT LOCATED IN CLARENDON COUNTY SERVING AS AN EX OFFICIO MEMBER OF A VOCATIONAL SCHOOL BOARD SHALL SERVE AS A VOTING MEMBER OF SUCH BOARD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Voting member

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the superintendent of any school district located in Clarendon County serving as an ex officio member of a vocational school board established pursuant to Section 59-53-1900 of the 1976 Code shall serve as a voting member of such board.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
