Deliberations were opened with prayer by the Chaplain of the House of Representatives, the Rev. Dr. Alton C. Clark as follows:

O God, the Strength of those who put their trust in You, we bow daily at this altar of prayer lest we be tempted to rely on our own ability alone. So we turn to You, "the eternal Rock of Ages." As we toil daily in the tasks that confront us, cause us to feel Your constant presence that no crushing cares or relentless demands or tormenting fears may never be able to blind our vision or shatter our faith in our all-powerful God.

In our Master's Name we pray. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

At 10:10 A.M. the House in accordance with H. 4239 (Sine Die Adjournment Resolution) adjourned to meet at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 12, in Statewide Session.
