God of all goodness, Who has kept us during the past night and brought us to this new day, direct and make to prosper all worthy deliberations and cause to advance all good things for the welfare of those we serve. Make us willing always to place ourselves in Your hands to find joy and satisfaction in our work. In all our tasks, give us Your guidance that we may walk in the paths of usefulness.

Rep. KEEGAN moved that when the House adjourns, it adjourn in memory of Fred P. Brinkman of Columbia, which was agreed to.
