TO AMEND SECTION 49-29-230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTAIN SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATIONS, SO AS TO EXTEND THE DOWNSTREAM ASHLEY RIVER SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATION TO THE HIGHWAY 526 BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 49-29-230(5) of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 408 of 1998, is amended to read:
"(5) that portion of the Ashley River located between the Highway 17A bridge crossing of the Ashley River and the railroad crossing located 21.5 miles downstream commonly known as the Drayton Hall Railroad Trestle to the Highway 526 bridge crossing of the Ashley River."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
