To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3873), to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 2-1-70 so as to provide that during its annual session, etc., respectfully

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 2-1-70 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT DURING ITS ANNUAL SESSION, EACH HOUSE OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY SHALL MEET ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OF EACH WEEK IN STATEWIDE SESSION AND ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY OF EACH WEEK IN LOCAL SESSION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 2-1-70. During its annual session, each House of the General Assembly shall meet on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week in statewide session and on Thursday and Friday of each week in local session unless for special purposes either or both bodies agree otherwise pursuant to the rules applicable to that body."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
