TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION TO EXPEND UP TO THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS OF THE FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE STATE UNDER SECTION 903 OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ERECTING A BUILDING FOR USE BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION IN HORRY COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of funds made available to the State under Section 903 of the Social Security Act, as amended, the sum of three hundred thirty-three thousand three hundred forty-four dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be used under the direction of the Employment Security Commission for the purpose of erecting a building in Horry County for the use of the Employment Security Commission and for such improvements, facilities, paving, fixed equipment, and landscaping as may be required for its proper use and for operation by the Employment Security Commission.
SECTION 2. No part of the money hereby appropriated may be obligated after the expiration of the two-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this act.
SECTION 3. The amount obligated pursuant to this act shall not exceed at any time the amount by which the aggregate of the amounts transferred to the account of this State pursuant to Section 903 of the Social Security Act exceeds the aggregate of the amounts obligated for administration and paid out for benefits and required by law to be charged against the amounts transferred to the account of this State.
SECTION 4. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
