TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-10, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ADOPTION OF THE FEDERAL MIGRATORY BIRD TREATY ACT AND REGULATIONS, CONCERNING HUNTING MIGRATORY BIRDS AND WATERFOWL, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE LEGAL SHOOTING HOURS ON DAYS THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES DESIGNATES AS LESS THAN A FULL DAY FOR HUNTING DOVES IS FROM ONE-HALF HOUR BEFORE SUNRISE UNTIL TWELVE-THIRTY P.M.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-11-10 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 181 of 1993, is further amended by adding:
"(C) The legal shooting hours on days the department designates as less than a full day for hunting doves is from one-half hour before sunrise until twelve-thirty p.m."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
