TO CONGRATULATE CHERYL MIHALOVITS OF HARTSVILLE UPON HER RECEIPT OF THE GOLD AWARD, THE HIGHEST AWARD THAT A GIRL CAN ACHIEVE IN GIRL SCOUTING.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that Cheryl Mihalovits of Hartsville has received the Gold Award, the highest award a girl can achieve in the Girl Scouts; and
Whereas, a girl's efforts to earn this award show that she has a very special commitment to herself, her community, and the world in which she lives; and
Whereas, Cheryl will receive this award at a ceremony to be held on May 6, 2001, at Francis Marion University in Florence, sponsored by the Girl Scout Council of the Pee Dee Area which has been instrumental in molding many young girls into fine young women; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this truly outstanding young lady upon her receipt of this deserved award. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly congratulate Cheryl Mihalovits of Hartsville upon her receipt of the Gold Award, the highest award that a girl can achieve in girl scouting.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Cheryl Mihalovits.
