RECOGNIZING AND THANKING BEVERLY BRANDES, OF LEXINGTON COUNTY, FOR HER DEDICATION AND SERVICE TO THE IRMO-CHAPIN COMMUNITY.
Whereas, Beverly Brandes is Chairman of the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission and is known and admired for her vision for parks and recreation and for her commitment to the Irmo-Chapin community; and
Whereas, Ms. Brandes has been instrumental in the development of Saluda Shoals Park, having worked to secure the land for the project and having led the community collaboration for the successful passage of a bond referendum; and
Whereas, we are pleased to be able to recognize Ms. Brandes in this special way and to express our gratitude for her hard work and vision. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognizes and thanks Beverly Brandes, of Lexington County, for her dedication and service to the Irmo-Chapin community.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Brandes.
